Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit a well-known supermarket in Malaysia, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The supermarket was spacious, brightly lit, and filled with a wide variety of products that cater to the daily needs of families.

The first section I entered was the fresh produce area. The vegetables looked very appealing, with bunches of sawi, kangkung, long beans, and fresh chillies neatly displayed. The fruits section was equally impressive, offering local favourites such as bananas, papayas, guavas, and imported fruits like apples and oranges. Everything looked fresh and carefully arranged.

Moving on, I visited the grocery aisles. Essential household products were easy to find. Bags of fragrant rice, a staple in every Malaysian home, were stacked neatly. Cooking oil of various brands, flour, sugar, and salt were also well-stocked. I noticed that popular beverages like Milo and Nescafé had their own section, alongside instant noodles such as Maggi, which is a common comfort food for many Malaysians.

The seafood and meat section was another highlight. Fresh fish like ikan kembung, ikan selar, and prawns were displayed on ice, while the chicken and beef counters looked clean and hygienic. It was clear that the supermarket prioritised freshness and quality.

The bakery section was filled with the aroma of freshly baked bread and buns, but some items sold out quickly, which showed how popular they were among shoppers. In addition, the frozen food aisle offered nuggets, sausages, and ready-to-cook meals that are convenient for busy families.

One of the things I appreciated most was the reasonable pricing. Many items had promotional discounts, and shoppers with loyalty cards enjoyed extra savings. This made the shopping experience even more worthwhile.

The staff were polite and helpful. When I could not find the section for dairy products, a worker kindly guided me there. The cashier also served me with a smile and handled the payment process quickly, making my visit smooth and pleasant.

Of course, there were some minor drawbacks. The parking lot was crowded because many families came for their weekend shopping, and at times, certain popular items like bakery bread and eggs ran out faster than expected. However, these issues did not overshadow the overall positive experience.

In conclusion, my visit to the supermarket was both enjoyable and convenient. With its wide variety of essential products—from rice, cooking oil, Milo, and Maggi noodles to fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, and seafood—it truly caters to the needs of Malaysian households. I believe that supermarkets like this play an important role in our daily lives, and I look forward to shopping there again.

Bataras Hypermarket in Tawau, Sabah is a true gem when it comes to grocery shopping. It is the go-to place for the local community as well as visitors. The parking lot is well designed and spacious, which makes it easy to find a spot. Although the trolleys could be improved, this doesn't take away from the fact that the store has everything you could possibly need. The meat and vegetable sections could use a little tweaking, but overall, the quality of the products is top-notch. The checkout process can be a bit busy at times, but that's a testament to the popularity of this hypermarket. I highly recommend Bataras Hypermarket for all your monthly grocery needs!

Assalamualaikum/Salam sejahtera,

Saya nak buat aduan tentang layanan staf di Bataras Hypermarket Tawau, pada 11 Julai 2025, jam 4:11 pagi.

Saya beratur di kaunter MyKasih, tapi staf bernama Nur Syahirah Binti Amsar terus scan barang tanpa tanya saya nak guna MyKasih atau tidak. Waktu tu saya lambat sikit keluarkan IC, tapi keadaan tak ramai orang pun. Sepatutnya dia tanya dulu sebelum scan, bukan buat keputusan sendiri.

Terima kasih
