Bringing my foreign colleague here to experience local village. It’s typical village environment and food. We just told the aunty to make 1 each of their dish and add all side dishes. Normally locals won’t order like this so yea we got to communicate several times and repeat until aunty understand what we want. Food taste not extraordinary but you will find your childhood memories. We ordered 4 dishes for 4 adult 1 kid plus 3 bottled mineral water total damage RM33, definitely reasonable.

This place serves Curry Noodles & other Economy Rice dishes. Quite a few foodies & bloggers have viralled this place

Hence be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes for your dish to arrive

The curry noodles filled with umami flavours will set one back RM 8.00 as at 26 May 2024

This eatery is located at the sports hall of SJK(C) Keng Chee , the only school at Pulau Ketam

At its heydays the population of Pulau Ketam numbered 30,000 . Now it is down to around 5,000

a couple of aunty... very nice and friendly... with awesome laksa and chilli rice. this stall is located just beside SJK (C) Keng Chee. it's done 15-20 min walk from the pulau ketam ferry jetty. however, i think it's worth the walk, enjoying the village and finally the laksa rice. i would recommend this stall if you ever go to pulau ketam.

I was not there for the laksa initially but just walking around the place. Surprisingly the taste of the laksa was great. It’s kinda of a distance to from the Jetty to this place. Definitely I will come again.

I wasn't there for the Laksa. I'm there for the fried bee hoon RM5 breakfast.. Nostalgic taste but is good... From here u can see the way of life of the people there as it a busy street...
