I had an incident on friday, 1st August at 9.30 pm.Where I took Air Asia and landed in Miri Airport. Upon collecting my checked luggage, I realized one of my luggage items was missing. I reported to the airport authorities, and a lady named Miss Farah Dimple (Air Asia) attended to me. She was very polite, apologetic, and sincere, and handled my issue well. I got my luggage the following day (2/8) in the morning and was delivered by taxi to my hotel in Miri. Here I would like to thank Miss Farah Dimple.

Deeply disappointed – unacceptable handling of a medical dietary requirement

We recently flew with Malaysia Airlines from Bali to Paris CDG, with a connection in Kuala Lumpur. Our daughter suffers from Celiac disease, which requires her to follow a strict gluten-free diet for medical reasons.

During the booking process, we clearly indicated that she required a gluten-free meal. The request was confirmed and validated by Malaysia Airlines in the booking details.

A gluten-free meal was served on the first flight (Bali to Kuala Lumpur), but to our shock, nothing was planned for the 13-hour long-haul flight to Paris. At check-in in Kuala Lumpur, we asked again to make sure the special meal would be provided — but the only answer we got was:

“You should have known that the special meal was only for one leg of the journey.”

This response is unacceptable. The booking covered both flights, and it is Malaysia Airlines’ responsibility to ensure that medical dietary needs are handled properly throughout the entire journey. No effort was made to help us, and no backup solution was offered onboard.

The cabin crew was kind and apologetic, but unfortunately, they could do nothing. Our daughter was left without a safe meal option during an entire long-haul international flight, which is not just disappointing — it is irresponsible and dangerous.

Malaysia Airlines showed a lack of care, empathy, and accountability, especially for a request that concerns a child’s health.

Confusing counters. Baggage drop counter has no staff manning it. Which counter do we go to? No clear sign / instruction. When will MAS wake up? And there's no kiosk machine to print the boarding pass & baggage tag either! Never learn, huh?

Customer service not helpful at all.

We got removed from our connecting flight as our first flight was slightly delayed, only to find out we could have made the connecting flight. Had to wait 12 hours and lost a day in our destination, no compensation has been made.

Probably wouldn’t be flying Malaysian any time soon.

I had a flight with Malaysian airlines MH 139 KL to Adelaide.
I was in the seat number 5G in business class and had a great service. But unfortunately it lacked the privacy and my seat is fully exposed to the next passenger.
The major issue was my headphone socket to the seat was badly loose and giving a loud crackling noise with slightest touch. Despite changing headsets the noise didn’t disappear. I realised it was due to faulty seat socket. My entire 7.5 hours journey was without entertainment.
Cabin crew was pleased to hear my complaint but I doubt that engineers can do anything other than replacement of the socket. Malaysian airline will continue to sell this seat for an exorbitant price despite the painful travel to the passenger.

Dear Malaysia Airline,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the lack of support I received while trying to modify my flight. This experience was particularly challenging as I was traveling with my infant, and I had anticipated a more accommodating response from your team.

On 1st Nov, my family and I were scheduled to fly from Delhi to Kuala Lumpur. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to modify our travel plans. As a parent traveling with a young child, I understand that changes can be complicated, but I was hopeful that your customer service team would provide the necessary assistance to make this process easier. Booking REF : 5ESYSS

Website modification says X amount and Phone call modification says 80X amount. Your agent says its agent fees. I mean 80 times fees?

Your website makes wrong calculations. When i raise it to chat support they give me a complaint id.

When i try to modify flight on website it shows error. When i try to make a new booking of same flight it is showing available.

I am feeling helpless now. It clearly shows how malaysian airline treats its business class passengers, The fare difference is only 1000 INR and on phone you are asking me 80000 INR

I urge Malaysian Airline to reconsider how you handle flight modifications, particularly for families with infants. A more empathetic approach that prioritizes customer needs, especially in challenging situations, would go a long way in improving the overall travel experience.

I will never book with MA again. They changed my flights over 8 times and my flights ended up leaving on a DIFFERENT DATE as the original ticket and taking more than twice as long! I would never have booked the flights if I knew that was the case. On top of that, they refused to give refund or offer any kind of compensation for the absolute inconvenience. Never again.
